One of the milestones in the career of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan was ‘Sigappu Rojakkal’ written by K.Bhagyaraj and directed by Bharathiraja with Kamal Haasan playing the role of a psychopath and Sridevi as an innocent girl who falls for him.
‘Sigappu Rojakkal’ is now being remade with Bharathiraja’s son Manoj Bharathiraja as director and G.V.Prakash Kumar as the music director replacing Illayaraja. The film has newcomers in Kamal and Sridevi roles and the team are waiting for three songs from GVP after shooting which it will be a wrap up.
