Romeo Juliet has opened on a good note as reported earlier in the day in our Chennai city box office report. From the city, the first 3 days gross is estimated to be 72.7 lakhs.
From around Tamil Nadu, the first 3 days gross is reported to be 6.5 crores. The film is U-rated and tax-free, and the signs are good for a handsome run. The reviews have been mixed but the lead pair, the hit songs, the evergreen romance genre and the marketing wave have all played a part in Romeo Juliet's successful opening.
We have to see if the film can sustain this level and emerge as a Hit.
